Solving Password Problems

If you were having difficulty making a google account and chose your own password you have to remember it. (Actually the best thing to do is just keep trying using your class password.)

If you have forgotten it here is what you have to do.

1. Click 'sign in' to right corner - try to sign in
2. I fit doesn't work click 'forgotten your password?' on the next page.
3. Follow the instructions.
4. Go to the green screen - the desktop.
5. Click on Firstclass (the icon is 3 people around a table).
6. You need to fill in your user ID and password. Your user ID is your student ID number (it is on your classlist).
7. Your password is the last 4 numbers of your student ID number then the day of your birth (2 digits) and the month of your birth (2 digits).
8. When Firstclass opens you need to go to 'Mailbox' - top left.
9. You will find an email from google - the subject is 'Google Password Assistance'. Open the email by double clicking on it.
10. Follow the instructions in the email - click on the blue link i the middle.
11. It asks you for a new password. USE YOUR CLASS LOGIN PASSWORD. This is the one with 6 letters from your teacher's name and then the number of the month.
12. Enter the password twice carefully (don't paste it) and then click reset password.
